WATA successfully achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification

This is the leading international standard focused on information security, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in partnership with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Both are leading international organizations that develop international standards.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is the international standard for information security. It sets out the specification for an information security management system (ISMS).

ISO 27001’s best-practice approach helps organizations manage their information security by addressing people, processes, and technology.

The latest version of the ISO 27001 information security standard was published in September 2013, replacing the 2005 iteration.

Going through rigorous evaluation rounds from the CPG Global - on August 8th, 2022, WATA officially received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification at Hai Au Building, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Certification to the ISO 27001 Standard is recognized worldwide to indicate that ISMS has aligned with information security best practices.
